What could be wrong with a person nobody else wants? Some think there must be a lot.  Join MC Justin Ngai and Mama Z as Mama uses philosophy, psychology and metaphysics to rule out everything from Autism to Zoophilia.  (She may have flirted with your pet theories, but she never loved them. After all, they said ‘no’, too.)

‘113 Reasons Why Not’ is a mostly-true story about the decades Mama Z spent accepting her lack of sex appeal and all the misguided advice she took along the way.  It premiered in 2019 at the Palmy Comedy Festival.  It’s funny, sad, outrageously rude, yet mainly thought-provoking. We hope to change the way you see those without sex appeal, even if you only start to see them at all.

Mama Z was joint winner of Best Female Comedian in the 2017 Manawatu Milkies Awards.  Justin Ngai won Best Original Script and Production (New NZ Short Play) at the 2019 Manawatu Theatre Awards.
